Fauntleroy is a shorthair dog, owned by the Tafts. He is a stubborn, selfish canine who often likes to torture Peter by biting him. Fauntleroy is also very territorial and will fight off anyone who invades his space. Although Peter is given a hard time by Fauntleroy, Paige enjoys watching Peter being tortured.
Appearance[]
Because Fauntleroy doesn’t appear often in the strip, his appearance has not changed. He has short, poofy hair, as well as a collar. As Peter states in one strip, Fauntleroy‘s head is smaller than a baseball.
Relationships with other characters[]
Peter: Peter is the only character that interacts with Fauntleroy (so far), and both these characters hate each other. Fauntleroy often tortures Peter by biting him or pooping on his shoes, for which Peter hates him for. However it's hinted that the reason Fauntleroy bites Peter so much is that he smells of beef due to Peter using a beef tallow bar soap while taking a shower.
Personality[]
Fauntleroy is a stubborn dog who is often spoiled by his owners, as strips show. He is also very aggressive towards Peter and attacks him almost every time he (Peter) dog-sits. He has also shown aggression towards other dogs.

- Fauntleroy’s feeding instructions requires the feeder to ring a crystal bell while holding a candelabra.
- According to one strip, Fauntleroy doesn’t let any other dog come within 50 miles of his house.
- Peter once froze his own flesh to protect against Fauntleroy’s bites.
